About me
Behind every blog is a face and I do not want to hide.
I have met many different leaders and their way of leading in more than 12 years of work. I have read a lot about leadership and I am proud to lead a team of between 10-12 people for almost 3 years now. My principles on how to lead my team are based on my own experiences as well as books and articles I have read about leadership. They are neither scientific nor do they have to work for everyone. I act very much intuitively and would like to provide here my experience and approaches. And I am happy if it gives one or the other some food for thought or ideas for their team.
To lead with grace and passion means for me to lead with gratitude and with courage. It is not simply a new way of leading but an attitude. It’s about giving people your time and listen to their voice, encourage them to take on challenges and rise above and most of all believe in them. As Dean James Ryan fittingly said in 2017 at the Havard Graduate School of Education graduation ceremony: „…, grace is about gratitude, and to lead with grace is to lead grateful for the opportunity and with thanks to those around you.“
